So Thankful the Elections is over...Well Maybe not?

Yesterday was election day here in Virginia. As usual I find myself with an internal dilemma. Who do I vote for?

Well for me and most moderate independents in Virginia there were really no good options. That really makes me frustrated. I miss the old days of politics. Now I am not saying that as a 60 year old woman. I am a mere 42 years old. I remember elections where people were excited for the candidates on both sides. Values and integrity were a staple within the candidates. Candidates has platforms that were not primarily hate slinging ads. Well, I like most other Virginians voted for the lesser of two evils, not the best quality candidate. At least the automated calls from Mike Huckabee will stop every 15 minutes urging me to vote. I guess I can go back to answering my phone instead of screening my calls, at least for another eleven months.
